A teacher by experience. A partner in conversation.
I’m from Mexico and now live in Spain. We’re a Czech-Mexican family, and I spent a year and a half living in Czechia. I know the feeling of understanding more than you’re ready to say.
I have a teaching degree specialising in Spanish and 12 years of experience teaching at lower secondary level in Mexico. I’ve also taught Czech students at a language school in České Budějovice and privately.

First, let’s just have a chat.
A free 15-minute introduction to meet, speak a little Spanish and discuss what you’d like from your lessons.
What if plans change?
Please arrange changes at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations and missed lessons are charged. If one person in a pair cancels in time, we can reschedule together or agree on a €20 private lesson for the other person. No price changes without agreement. For a late cancellation, both places are charged and the attending student can use all 60 minutes at no extra cost. If Diana cancels, she will offer a replacement lesson or a refund.

A few things you might wonder.
Do I need to be exactly B1 or B2?
Lessons are suitable from approximately B1 upwards. What matters more than a certificate is being able to hold a simple conversation and understand everyday questions. If you’re unsure, our free 15-minute introduction will help us see whether these lessons suit you.
Will we only speak Spanish?
Mostly, yes — the aim is to give you real practice. Diana also speaks English at B2 level and some Czech, around A1/A2. In-depth grammar explanations in Czech are not part of this offer.
Is Mexican Spanish useful if I’m going to Spain?
Yes. Mexican and European Spanish are mutually intelligible, with some differences in vocabulary, pronunciation and forms of address. Diana is from Mexico and lives in Spain, so we can also explore differences you might encounter in everyday life.
How do we meet and have our online lessons?
Message Diana on WhatsApp to arrange a free 15-minute introduction. Lessons take place online by video call; you’ll agree on the tool and connection details beforehand. You’ll need a stable internet connection, a microphone and ideally a quiet space.
Can I book occasional lessons?
Yes. We can agree on a fixed weekly time or arrange individual lessons depending on availability. A regular slot gives your Spanish a rhythm, but it isn’t a requirement.
I’d like a paired lesson but don’t have a partner.
Message Diana to register your interest. Finding a suitable partner and a start date cannot be guaranteed. In the meantime, you can take individual lessons at €20 or wait. You won’t pay for an unfilled pair.
How do payment and cancellations work?
You’ll agree on the payment method and timing with Diana before confirming your first paid lesson. Please arrange changes at least 24 hours ahead; late cancellations are charged. The pricing section explains the arrangements for pairs.
